Being one of our city's first officials is serious work that will require council members to roll up their sleeves. As a long-time resident said, this election can't be just a "popularity contest."

I have the qualifications, experience, and tested record to help get our city off to a strong start:

• Seasoned Attorney: Experienced in trial work, litigation management, employee and labor relations; served individuals, cities, schools, and Fortune 500 companies.
• Experienced Manager: Managed multimillion-dollar budgets, supervised staff, ensured cost-effective management, and handled all HR matters—consistently under budget.
• Tested Leader and Team Player: Led the successful volunteer petition drive and campaign for incorporation; currently a volunteer leader on the transition team, leveraging legal, business, and volunteer experience for our new city startup.
• Retired: Able to dedicate countless hours to help our city succeed; no conflicts with employer interests, unlike other candidates who are employed by developers, appointed to positions by commissioners, or have other interests in conflict with land-use decisions.
